This Privacy Policy explains how Crawler collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit crawlerrv.com (the "Site"), contact us, request a quote or service, create an account or subscribe to our newsletter.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

The Site is operated by Crawler Karavan Ticaret A.Ş., the manufacturer of Crawler vehicles, based in Türkiye ("Crawler", "we", "us").

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message.
  • Technical service requests: your name, email address, phone number, the model concerned, a description of the issue and any photos you upload (up to 5). Photos can contain information that your camera or phone embeds automatically, such as the location where the photo was taken. If you prefer not to share it, please remove this information before uploading. If you are not signed in when you send a request, we create a customer account for you with the details you provided, so you can follow the request, and we email you a link to set a password.
  • Quote requests: your name, email address, phone number and the configuration you built (model, options and price).
  • Customer account: your name, email address, password and, if you add them, your phone number, addresses (including company name and tax details for business addresses), notification preferences and saved or followed products. We store your password only in hashed form; we cannot read it.
  • Newsletter: your email address. When you subscribe, we keep a record of your consent: the date and time, your IP address, your browser information and the consent text you agreed to. You confirm your subscription through a link we email to you (double opt-in).

2.2 Information from Sign in with Google

If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, whether your email address is verified and a Google account identifier with us. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not store your profile picture or Google access tokens.

2.3 Information collected automatically

  • Security and account information: when you sign in, we record your IP address and browser information (user agent) with your session and with account events such as sign-in, sign-out, password or email changes. This helps keep your account secure. You can see and end your active sessions in your account.
  • Approximate location: our network provider tells us which country you are browsing from, based on your IP address. We use this only to show you the right prices, currency and regional information. We do not store it.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see section 4 and our Cookie Policy.
  • Anti-spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people and automated bots apart.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • answer your questions and handle your service and quote requests;
  • create and manage your account and let you sign in;
  • send you emails you asked for, such as account verification, password reset, quote and service updates;
  • send you our newsletter and product notifications, if you opted in. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time through the link in every newsletter, and manage product notifications in your account settings;
  • protect the Site, our customers and us against spam, fraud and abuse;
  • understand how the Site is used and improve it (statistics only with your consent, see section 4);
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

When you first visit the Site, a banner asks for your choice. You can change it at any time through the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. In short:

  • Strictly necessary cookies (always active) keep you signed in, remember your cart, your currency and your cookie choices, and protect the Site.
  • Statistics and marketing (only if you allow them): Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site.
  • External content (only if you allow it, or when you click "Load Map"): Google Maps on our contact and dealer pages.
  • Performance measurement: Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page loading performance without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

Other than Google Analytics and Google Maps as described above, and only with your consent, we do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site. 5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.

  • Our group companies: your inquiries (contact, service and quote requests) are handled by our team at Crawler Karavan Ticaret A.Ş. in Türkiye and at our European company, Crawler Caravans GmbH, in Germany.
  • Service providers that process information on our behalf:
    • Google LLC: website analytics (with your consent), maps (with your consent), Sign in with Google and delivery of our emails;
    • Cloudflare, Inc.: content delivery, security and bot protection (Turnstile), video streaming, file storage (including service request photos, which are kept in a private, access-restricted area) and performance measurement;
    • our hosting provider in Istanbul, Türkiye, where our servers and database are located.
  • Legal reasons: we may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
  • Business transfers: if our business is sold or reorganized, information may be transferred to the new owner under this policy.

6. International transfers

We are based outside the United States. Our servers are located in Türkiye, our team works in Türkiye and Germany, and some of our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. When you use the Site, your information is transferred to and processed in these countries, whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy:

  • account information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for the purposes in section 3 or as required by law;
  • inquiries, service and quote requests for as long as needed to handle them and for our legitimate business records;
  • newsletter consent records for as long as needed to prove your consent, also after you unsubscribe;
  • backups for up to 30 days.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Access and update: you can view and update your account details, addresses and notification preferences in your account.
  • Newsletter and notifications: unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter; manage product notifications in your account settings.
  • Cookies: use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.
  • Copies, corrections and deletion: to request a copy of your personal information, or its correction or deletion, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity before we act on your request. We may keep information that we are required by law to keep.

State privacy rights. Depending on the state you live in (for example California), you may have additional rights: to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request its deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email [email protected]. You may use an authorized agent. We will respond within the time required by law.

Do Not Track. The Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Non-essential cookies are only used if you allow them in the cookie banner or in Cookie Settings.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and session tokens, private storage for uploaded photos and access limited to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other websites

The Site links to other websites, such as our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and dealer websites. Their own privacy policies apply to them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, if the changes are significant, give you a more prominent notice.
